Design Review Meeting
December 11, 2017
Applicant: Tari and Con Jensen - Spring Creek Homes
Proposed site address: 4563 Burley Drive
Present: Mayor England; Rodney Burch, Public Works Director; Devin Hillam, Planning &
Development Director; Bridger Morrison, City Engineer; Randy Severe, Police
Chief; Merlin Miller, Fire Marshal; Paul Andrus, City Planner; Tom Holmes, City
Attorney; Nelli Simmons, Office Administrator.
Meeting today is a site plan review for storage units on Burley Drive.
Tari was in attendance to explain their plan. The Jensen’s would like to build storage units next
to the south fence on the present RV storage at their business Safe-T-Gard location. The RV
storage will be removed.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
TRAFFIC SAFETY AND TRAFFIC CONGESTION: The parking lot will be paved between the north
and proposed south storage buildings. There will be enough room at the east end of the lot for
turn arounds.
OUTDOOR ADVERTISING: no changes
DRAINAGE: Stormwater drainage needs to be engineered and retained on site. When the
building permit is submitted the calculations for storm water retention will need to be included.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING: Lighting needs to be shielded to prevent light trespass.
ENGINEERING: Platting has been done
FIRE DEPARTMENT: No issues
BUILDING DEPARTMENT: Plans will go to Ray for approval.
POLICE DEPARTMENT: No issues
BUSINESS LICENSE: In place
