Proposed site address: 4809 Yellowstone Avenue (Hollywood Video)
Present: Mayor England; Rodney Burch, Public Works Director; Paul Andrus, City Planner; Randy Severe,
Police Chief; Ray Griffin, Building Official; Eric King, Fire Chief; Merlin Miller, Fire Marshal; Tom
Holmes, City Attorney; Nelli Simmons, Administrative Assistant.
Meeting today is a conference call with Phil Pecord to discuss the site plan for the old Hollywood Video store to be
remodeled for Auto Zone. Approximate opening is February.
PROJECT REQUIREMENTS
TRAFFIC SAFETY AND TRAFFIC CONGESTION: The one hour deliveries to the building will be once a week.
TRAFFIC STUDIES, UTILITY STUDIES: (as requested) na
OUTDOOR ADVERTISING: Ray will process the sign permit application.
LANDSCAPING: 5% of the paved area needs to be landscaped. Tree list was provided. Some trees have died and
will need to be replaced.
STRUCTURES AND SITE LAYOUT: Plan Complies. Asphalt parking will be replaced with concrete.
The Northwest corner of the property has the trash enclosure. The glass windows on the front of the building will
be replaced with a delivery door and a solid wall. Shrink wrap pallets is how they get their deliveries. New
bathrooms, lighting, paint and flooring in the interior of the building.
DRAINAGE: Stormwater drainage will be engineered and retained on site.
PRETREATMENT: No drains in the building.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING: Lighting is required to be shielded to prevent light trespass.
ENGINEERING: Platting has been done
FIRE DEPARTMENT: Knox box will need to be rekeyed and a visible street address. Fire Hydrant on West Chubbuck
Road needs bollards for protection. The building is not sprinkled.
BUILDING DEPARTMENT: Plans will go to Ray for approval. The exterior will be repainted with Auto Zone colors.
Building permit application is on the web site cityofchubbuck.us.
POLICE DEPARTMENT: No issues.
BUSINESS LICENSE: Business license is required.
