Sanitation Parking Building
General Notice
City of Chubbuck (Owner) is requesting Bids for the con-
struction of the following Project:
Sanitation Parking Building
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the
Chubbuck City Hall located at 290 E. Linden Ave., Chub -
buck, ID 83202 until Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at 11:00
AM local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly
opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
This project includes the construction of a parking build-
ing consisting of an in -ground concrete foundation, wood-
en frame, and preformed metal panel roof and walls. The
building will be enclosed on three sides and open on one
side.The building will consist of 16 bays, each with a min-
imum, unobstructed inside dimension of 14' wide,14' high,
and 80' deep.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Sanitation
Parking Building
Obtaining the Bidding Documents
Bidding documents (CD's or via email — electronic versions)
will be available starting at 8:00 a.m, local time on Novem-
ber 4, 2022. Electronic biding documents including the Project
Manual, Drawings, Addendums, and Exhibits must be obtained
at the City of Chubbuck, 290 E. Linden Ave., Chuhhuck ID
83202 or by email at bmorrisan @citofchubbuck.us.
Pre-bid Conference - A pre-bid conference for the Project
will NOT be held.
Instructions to Bidders
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifica-
tions, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions
to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents,
Bids must be accompanied by_Bid Security in the form of a
bid bond certified check cashiers check or cash in the amount
of five percent (b%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Said
bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Chubbuck as liqui-
dated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into
contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the
Instructions to Bidders.
The successful bidder must have a public works construction
license pursuant to Idaho Code Title 54, Chapter 19, prior to
entering into the contract.
The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to refect any or all
�roaasals waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids
receiveJ, and to accept the proposal deemed most advanta
aeous to the best interest of the City of Chubbuck.
