NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City
of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a Public Hearing at 6:00 pm
on July 7, 2021 at Chubbuck City Council Chambers, 5160 Yel-
lowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho. In-person attendance is al-
lowed. This meeting will also be available to the public electroni-
cally or by phone. Public hearings will be held with respect to the
following item:
1. An application for a Change in Land Use District from Lim-
ited Residential (R-2) to Commercial General (C-2) on approxi-
mately .25 acres of land. Subject property is in the NE �/4 of the
NW 1/4 of Section 3, Township 6 South, Range 34 East of the
Boise Meridian, Idaho, and is part of a larger parcel generally
located west of Yellowstone Ave and north of Briscoe Road in
Chubbuck, Idaho. The Comprehensive Plan Future Land Use
map designates this area as Medium Density Residential, with
the bulk of the property designated as Commercial. Following a
public hearing on June 8, 2021, the City of Chubbuck Land Use
and Development Commission recommended approval.
Type of Action: Decision.

on request to jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us. Council packet will be
available upon request to the same email by June 30, 2021. Any
and all persons may register comments, protests, or agreements
on the hearing subjects being considered. Oral testimony con-
cerning these proposals may be offered at the public hearing.
Commission may limit oral testimony. Written testimony must be
received by jbowers@cityofchubbuck.us at least 7 days prior
to the hearing, shall comply with standards established in City
Code 18.28.020.D.7., and shall be considered public record.
Any person needing special accommodations to participate in
the meeting should contact the City Clerk, Joey Bowers at jbow-
ers@cityofchubbuck.us at least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
