August 16th, 2005
Minutes of a Special Meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, August 16th, 2005.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steven M. England, Marvin
C. Gunter, Kent Kearns, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steven M.
Smart and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting ~vas called to order at 5:05 p.m. by President of Council Steven M. England.
PURPOSE OF MEETING is to discuss the 2005-2006 FY Budget.
2005-2006 FISCAL YEAR BUDGET - City Clerk Ron Conlin stated the 2005-2006 FY General
Fund Budget is $147,123. out of balance. The following was discussed for cuts:
Parks Department
Highway, Streets and Roads
Building Inspection
Fire Department
Police Department
$ 35,000.
$ 25,000.
$ 5,OOO.
$ 5,OOO.
$ 77,123.
Discussion about employees contributing to their health insurance premiums.
CC Conlin was directed to make the above cuts
At 6:45 p.m, Councilman Gunter moved, Councilman Kearns seconded, with full council
approval to adjourn meeting.

Pursuant to Idaho Code Section 50-604, the undersigned Mayor of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho, hereby calls a special meeting of the City Council to be held in the Chubbuck City
Council Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone, Chubbuck, Idaho at the hour of 5:00 p.m, Tuesday,
August 16th, 2005. The purpose of the Special Meeting is to conduct a study session on 2005-
