Transfer of Property from
Chubbuck Development
Authority to City of
Chubbuck
A public hearing will be held
on August 19, 2020 at 6 PM
at the regular meeting of the
Chubbuck City Council to con-
sider the transfer of property
from the Chubbuck Develop-
ment Authority (CDA) to the
City of Chubbuck for approx-
imately 4.3 acres of property
located near the new City
Hall building at the corner of
Burley Drive and E Linden, in
accordance with Idaho Code
§ 67-2323. The CDA and City
propose via memorandum of
understanding to transfer the
property for a sum of $51,796
and that the payment shall be
in the form of a credit towards
the funds owed from the CDA
to the City for administrative
reimbursements. The trans-
fer of property is necessary
to accommodate additional
sands needed for parking area
for the new City Hall facility.
The land had previously been
acquired by the CDA for the
purpose of street and lot con-
struction in accordance with
the urban renewal plan.
Due to COVID-19 transmis-

and public hearing will be held

ing; information on how to at-
tend the electronic meeting,

tained below. Written or oral
comments about the proposal
are welcome. Written com-
ment may be submitted prior
