Home My WebLink About07 22 2020 Fog Seal RebidsCITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO 2020 FOG SEAL PROJECT - REBID NOTICE FOR BIDS TO QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS Separate sealed BIDS from qualified contractors for the 2020 Fog Seal Project- Rebid located in Chubbuck, Idaho and other related work as set forth in the Contract docu- ments will be received by the Public Works Director, City of Chubbuck, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue (P.O. Box 5604), Chubbuck, Idaho 83202, until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thurs- day, August 6, 2020 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The project generally con- sists of fog sealing approxi- mately 7.7 miles of roadway, including providing temporary traffic control, preparing and sealing the roadway, striping, and related items of work. Bids will be opened at the Council Chambers at City Hall on August 6, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. on said date. All interest- ed individuals are welcome to attend. Electronic copies of the Bidding documents may be downloaded by contacting the Cityof Chubbuck by telephone at 20€3-237-2430 ext. 162. The standard set of Bidding Doc- uments includes electronic PDF files of the bid forms, technical specifications, and a project vicinity map. A Pre -Bid Conference will not be held. All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the Public Works Director in a sealed envelope with a con- cise statement marked on the outside identifying the project to which the bid pertains. All bids shall contain one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the amount bid: a) Cash, b) Ca- shiers Check made payable to the City, c) Certified Check made payable to the City, or d) bidder's bond executed by a qualified Idaho Surety Com- pany, made payable to the City. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the City of Chub - buck as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in ac- cordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders Davis -Bacon Wage Rates will not be applicable to this project. The City of Chubbuck re- serves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive any nonmaterial irregularities in the bids received, and to ac- cept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the best interest of the City of Chubbuck.
