APPLICANT: Mike Galindo, Route 2, Box 183, Pocatello, Idaho 83202.
PROJECT TITLE: Automotive Repair Business

PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Site Plan Approval
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steve Smart, Larry Kohntopp, Jean
Higgins, Randy Severe, Ron Conlin, Ray Griffin and Eric King.
Mike Galindo was present to present the proposed site plan.
Mr. Galindo said he is purchasing the property.
Mr. Galindo said he will revitalize the landscaping. Mr. Galindo stated he wants to clean up the
property.
Mr. Galindo said he does not plan on doing long term work on vehicles, which means he will not
be storing any vehicles on a long term basis. Discussion about screening fence
requirement.
Merlin Miller stated there might be a Fire Department issue with oil, depending how much oil they
will accumulate. Merlin said he will work with Mr. Galindo.
The site plan was approved as presented subject to;
1. Required to revitalize the landscaping to meet City Code. (10' landscaping with
automatic sprinkling).
2. Fire Marshal Merlin Miller will work with Mr. Galindo on requirements of oil
accumulation.
3. Required to install a knox box.
4. Required to have a clear visible address.
5. Vehicles will be monitored so the business will always be in compliance with City
Code. Screening fence might be necessary.

DESIGN ~VIEW MEETING APPLICATION
The purpose of this application is to ~establish a meeting and review time with the City of
Chubbuck Design Review Team consisting of the Mayor, Building Official, City
Planner, City Engineer, Fire Marshal, Police Chief and other City staff as required.
The Design Review Team meets every Tuesday morning between the hours of
10:30 and 11:30 AM.
This team will work in unison, with you, to establish the criteria for your project as it
relates to the adopted ordinances of the City of Chubbuek. Keep in mind, this is an
informal review and is only conducted on submitted applications. This is a review team
not a design team. Provide (10) ten sets of drawings, (8 1/2 X 11), at least eight days in
advance of your scheduled meeting. Formal review of your plans or project by City
Staff is conducted after formal application. Once you schedule your Design Review,
it is very important to keep that appointment so others can be scheduled accordingly.
