Site Plan Approval
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steve Smart, Larry Kohntopp, Jean
Higgins, Randy Severe, Ron Conlin, Ray Griffin, Merlin Miller, Patty Hopkins and Eric
King.
Vicky Stoffer and Randie Wilhelm were present to present the proposed site plan.
Vicky Stoffer stated their operations are cleared by the State.
Vicky Stoffer stated they do not hire any sex offenders.
Vicky Stoffer said the day care facility is a regular day care facility with approx. 30 children.
Vicky Stoffer said there will be a restroom installed in Space D.
Upstairs will be used for storage only.
Larry Kohntopp said he would like to check out the accesses, if possible there should be only two
accesses, rather than three.
Jean Higgins said a report showed their prior business on Hiway 30 said they denied access to
Child Protection Services at one time last year. Neither one, Vicky or Randie could
remember denying access to Child Protection Services.
FM Merlin Miller stated there is a requirement of a knox box if approved.
After discussion, Design Review Committee decided Larry Kohntopp will go to the proposed site
and review the access situation.
