NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Land Use & Development
Commission of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will conduct a pub-
lic hearing at 7:00 PM on March 10, 2020 at Chubbuck City
Council Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Ida-
ho, with respect to the following items:
1. A proposal by city staff to replace existing Chapter 16.28 Ad-
ministration of the Land Use Ordinance with a rewritten chapter
18.28 Administration, setting forth a new scope, procedures,
requirements, and review and approval criteria for conditional
use permits, variances, comprehensive plan amendments, title
text and map amendments, annexations, appeals of adminis-
trative and land use and development commission decisions,
and for requests for reconsideration of City Council decisions.
2. A Proposal by city staff to amend section 17.12.080.G of mu-
nicipal code to change the review and comment timeframe for
preliminary plats from ten (10) calendar days to ten (10) busi-
ness days for reviewing agencies and utilities.
3. An application for a conditional use permit for the North Ban-
nock Fire Station, a government facility which is conditionally
allowed in any zone. The subjectppropert is approximately 2
acres in size, consisting of parcel RPRUC0i8000. General-
ly located at 444 and 446 East Chubbuck Rd, Chubbuck, ID.
4. An application for conditional use permit for light manufactur-
ing, assembly and retail use in a C-2 General Commercial
Zone. The subjectproperty consisting of portion o1 Lot 1, Block
1 Pine Ridge Mall Re -Plat, Generally known as 4235 Yellow-
stone, Chubbuck, ID.
A complete description of each item is available to the public on
request at the City Office. Commission packet will be available
at the City Office on March 3, 2020. Any and all persons may
register comments, protests, or agreements on the hearing
subjects being considered. Oral testimony concerning these
proposals may be offered at the public hearing. Commission
may limit oral testimony. Written testimony must be received by
the Planning Department at least 7 days prior to the hearing,
shall comply with standards established in City Code
18.28.020.D.7., and shall be considered public record.
City Hall and the City Council Chambers are accessible for per-
sons with disabilities. Any person needing special accommoda
tions to participate in the meeting should contact the City Plan-
ner, Paul Andrus at 208.237.2430 at least 24 hours prior to the
meeting.
