CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City
Council of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho,
will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 PM
on February 5, 2020 at Chubbuck City
Council Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone
Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho, with respect
to the following items:
1. An application for a Change in Land
Use District from Limited Residential (R-
2) to General Commercial (C-2) on
approximately .4 acres of land. Subject
property is in the NE 1/4 of Section 10,
Township 6 South, Range 34 East of
the Boise Meridian, Idaho, generally
located at 224 E Linden Avenue,
Chubbuck, Idaho. The Comprehensive
Plan Future Land Use map designates
this area as Employment. Fallowing a
public hearing on 1/4/2020, the Land
Use Commission recommended
approval. I
2. An application for a Change in. Land
Use District from Limited Residential (R-
2) to General Commercial (C-2) on
approximately 0.69 acres of land.
Subject property is in the NE 1/4 of
Section 10, Township 6 South, Range
34 East of the Boise Meridian, Idaho,
generally located at 4522 Burley Drive
and 4520 Burley Drive in Chubbuck,
Idaho. The Comprehensive Plan Future
Land Use map designates this area as
Employment. Following a public hearing
on 11412020, the Land Use Commission
recommended approval.
3. An application for annexation of
approximately 17.4 acres of land into
the City of Chubbuck and to include the
property in the Limited Residential (R-2)
Zone, and to change the Zone on
approximately .2 acres of land from
Agriculture (A) to Limited Residential (R-
2). The Comprehensive Plan Future
Land Use map designates this area as
Mixed Use. Property is in the NW 1/4 of
Section 9, Township 6 South, Range 34
East of the Boise Meridian, Idaho. The
subject parcels are generally located on
the east side of Philbin Road, north'of
the Redman Lateral Canal and south of
the future alignment of Sawtooth Street
in Chubbuck, Idaho. Following a public
hearing on 11412020, the Land Use
Commission recommended approval.
A complete description of each item is
available to the public on request at the
City Office. Any and all persons may
register comments, protests, or
agreements on the hearing subjects
being considered. Oral testimony
concerning these proposals may be
offered at the public hearing. "Council;
may limit oral testimony. Written
testimony must be received by the City
Clerk at least 7 days prior to the
hearing, shall comply with standards
established in City Code 18.28.020.D.7.,
and shall be considered public record.
Dity Hall and the City Council Chambers
are accessible for persons with
disabilities. Any person needing special
accommodations to participate in the
meeting should contact the City Clerk,
