NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the:
Land Use & Development Commission;
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will con-
duct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on De-
cember 10, 2018 at Chubbuck City
Council Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone
Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho, with respect
to the following items:
An application for a Change in Land Use
District from Limited Residential (R-2) to
General Commercial (C-2) on approxi-
mately 0.69 acres of land. Subject prop-
erty is in the NE'/4 of Section 10, Town-
ship 6 South, Range 34 East of the
Boise Meridian, Idaho, generally located
at 4522 Burley Drive and 4520 Burley
Drive in Chubbuck, Idaho. The Compre-
hensive Plan Future Land Use map
designates this area as Employment.
Type of Action: Recommendation.
An application for annexation of approxi-
mately 17.4 acres of land into the City of
Chubbuck and to include the property in
the Limited Residential (R-2) Zone, and
to change the Zone on approximately .2
acres of land from Agriculture (A) to
Limited Residential (R-2). The Compre-
hensive Plan Future Land Use map
designates this area as Mixed Use.
Property is in the NW %4 of Section 9,
Township 6 South, Range 34 East of
the Boise Meridian, Idaho. The subject
parcels are generally located on the
east side of Philbin Road, north of the
Redman Lateral Canal and south of the
future alignment of Sawtooth Street in
Chubbuck, Idaho. 'type of Action: Rec-
ommendation.
A complete description of each item is
available to the public on request at the
City Office. Commission packet will be
available at the City Office on December
3, 2019. Any and all persons may regis-
ter comments, protests, or agreements
on the hearing subjects being consid-
ered. Oral testimony concerning these
proposals may be offered at the public
hearing. Commission may limit oral tes-
timony. Written testimony must be re-
ceived by the Planning Department at
least 7 days prior to the hearing, shall
comply with standards established in
City Code 18.28.020.D.7„ and shall be
considered public record.
City Hall and the City Council'Chambers
are accessible for persons with disabili-
ties. Any person needing special ac-
commodations to participate in the
meeting should contact the City Plan-
ner, Paul Andrus at. 208.237.2430 at
least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
