HomeMy WebLinkAbout08 13 2019 Northgate Parkway Landscape BidsADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF CHUBBUCK 'ROJECT TITLE: Northgate Parkway (East Siphon Road) Landscape Im- provements ieparate Sealed BIDS for the Northgate Parkway (East Siphon Road) Land- scape Improvements located at Chub - buck, Idaho and other related work as set forth in the Contract documents will be received by City of Chubbuck at 5160 Yellowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho, 83202 until 11:00 A.M. local time, 27 August 2019, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. The work includes the construction of landscape and beautification improve- ments associated with approximately 4,000 linear feet of new roadway includ- ing planted medians and landscape buffer zones along both sides of this new roadway. Construction elements include, but are not limited to: Irrigation main line installation, boring and sleeve installation, electronic controller installa- tion, drip irrigation, fine grading and planter bed preparation, weed barrier fabric installation, tree and shrub instal- lation, and rock mulch and boulder placement. Electronic Copies of the SPECIFICA- TIONS, DRAWINGS, ADDENDUMS, AND EXHIBITS in an Adobe PDF file format may be obtained via email from Bill Jackson with Jackson Land Design, PC at JLandDesi n@cableone.net. Questions prior to the Bid shall be direct- ed via email only to Jackson Land De- sign, PC at JLandDesiqn@ca- bleone.net. Using ONLY the sample Request for Information (RFI) form, ad- dress all questions to the attention of Mr. Bill Jackson, RLA. No phone ques- tions will be allowed! A PRE-BID MEETING will be held at the site (intersection of Hiiine Road and Siphon Road, Chubbuck) at 10:00 AM, local time, on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. In determining the lowest responsive bid, the Owner will consider all acceptable bids on a basis consistent with the bid package. The Owner will also consider whether the bidder is a responsible bid- der. Before a contract will be awarded for work contemplated herein, the Own- er will conduct such investigation as is necessary to determine the perfor- mance record and ability of the apparent low bidder to perform the size and type of work specified under this Contract. Upon request, the Bidder shall submit such information as deemed necessary by the Owner to evaluate the Bidder's qualifications. All bids must be signed and accompanied by evidence of authority to sign. Bids must be accompanied by Bid Securi- ty in the form of a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Said bid se- curity shall be forfeited to the City of Chubbuck as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The City of Chubbuck reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive an} nonmaterial irregularities in the bids re- ceived, and to accept the proposa deemed most advantageous to the bes interest of City of Chubbuck.
