STATE OF IDAHO~
NOTICE IS GIVEN that a special meeting of the City
Council (herein "Council") of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho (herein
"City"), will be held at the City Offices in the
City at 7:30 o'clock p_.m., on Th~ay the 20~-h day
of May .~. ,,_ , 1971. The object of said meeting is to con-
sider the adoption of an ordinance calling an election on
the questions of issuing t~e Cityts general obligation water
and sewer bonds and the City's joint water and sewer revenue
bonds, and for the transaction of such other business inci-
dental to the foregoinE as may come before said. meeting.

AND CONSENT TO SPECL~L MEETING
~ We, the undersigned Mayor and members of the Coun-
cil acknowledge receipt of the foregoing notice of a special
meeting, and waive 'any irregularities in such notice and in
the manner of service thereof upon us, and consent and agree
to the holding of such special meeting at the time and place
specified, and to the transaction of all business which may

A special meeting of the City Council
(herein "Council") of the City of Chubbuck (herein "City") in the
County of Bannock and State of Idaho, was held on Thursday ,
the 20th day of ~a¥ , 1971, at the hour of 7:30
o'clock p.m.~ at the city offices __
in the City, being the regular meeting place of the Council,
at which meeting there were present and answering the roll
call the following, who constitute a quorum:
Mayor: John O. Cotant, Jr.
Councilmen: w. Dennis Leslie
Earl L. Romriell
Wayne G. Taylor
Paul ~. Thomp.son
Absent:
constituting all the members thereof.
There were also present:
City Clerk:
Vera C. Armstrong
Joseph G. Wiser City Attorney
Thereupon, the following proceedings, among others
were duly had and taken:
Councilman Leslie introduced and
moved the adoption of an ordinance entitled: "An ordinance
relating to the Joint water and sewer system of the City
of Chubbuck, Idaho; providin§ for a special election at
which there shall be submitted to the electors qualified
to vote thereon the questions of issuin~ general obligation
water and sewer bonds and of issuir~ joint water and sewer
revenue bonds of the City for the purpose of defraying in
part the cost of constructir~ a sewera~e system and improv-
ing, extendin~ and bettering the present municipal water
system; prescribing details in connection therewith;
ratifyin§ actio~ previously taken concernin§ said Joint
water and se~er system and said bonds; and providin§ the
ef£ective date hereof."
The motion was made by Councilman .Thompson
and seconded by Councilman Romriel! that the rules
requiring ordinances of a general and permanent nature to be
fully and distinctly read on three different days be dispensed
with and that said ordinance be read in full and at length and
placed upon its final passage.
Thereupon~ the Clerk was ordered to call the roll on
said motion and the roll call upon said motion was as follows:

The Mayor thereupon declared that the motion~ having
been duly passed by not less than one-half (1/2) plus one (1)
of the members of the full Council, had been duly carried.
The ordinance was then read by the Clerk in full and at length
as follows:
