HomeMy WebLinkAbout07 12 1973 CMMinutes of the recessed meeting of July 10 held in the city municipal building July 12, 1975. Present: Mayor Cotaut, Councilmen Kinghorn, Menard, Romriell and Taylor, clerk Vera Armstrong. Mayor called meeting to order 5:20 p.m. Purpose of recessed meeting is to coVer items left from July l0 council meeting. WATER LINE - Mayor and council agreed to order enough 12 inch pipe to finish the water line from Siphon Rd. to WEll #3 and pay for same with the $10,000.00 budgeted to Waterworks from Revenue Sharing. WATER BILLS - Mayor and counci~ discussed delinquent water bills. It was agreed for rental units pay $20.00 deposit. Ail rental units to become delinquent the 15th of month following billing and to receive notice bill is delinquent and city to shut off if not paid within 72 hours. Mayor and council agreed for this to become an amendment to water ordinance. MEETING AGENDA - It was discussed and agreed by n~yor and council for an agenda to be prepared in advance of council meeting and sent out to councilmen. Also all council meetings to be recessed at 11:00 p.m. if business not complete and continued at recessed meeting. Mayor and council to meet at 7:50 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month for a short work session before regular meeting. HAULING OFF OLD CARS - Mayor suggested Denny Jones receive money from old cars sold ko McCarty's because he spends his time and wrecker in collecting and hauling these cars to his lot and McCartys. It was agreed by council for mayor to discuss · this with Denny as other firemen participate also. CHUBBUCK DAY - Mayor asked suggestions from council for Chubbuck day activities. Subject discussed at length with several suggestions made. LiSH STREET - Councilman Romriell informed mayor and council Charlie Frasure has stated he would like to construct sidewalks on Lish Street if city will approve. Mayor and council stated they would prefer sidewalks along this street. Also discussed was water and sewer lines to lots of George A. Lish on Lish Street. No action taken.
