Meeting called to order at 3:50 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
SERVICE LINES FOLLOWING MAIN LINES - Mayor Cotant stated he would like to see these lines
installed right after the main line. Doug Gadd said they were behind on account of
bad weather earlier but think they can keep up now, which is their intentions.

as possibe after installation of sewer line. Mr. Mortenson and Mr. Gadd said arrange-
ments have been made to start paving streets complete the first part of this month·

Ortons, Samples and Waltons. Doug Jensen said an appointment has been set up to
get these repairs agreed upon·
PUMPING STATION ON SIPHON AND SORRELL - Councilman Menard remarked this area needs
cleaned up. Mr. Mortenson advised council service lines will be started this week
on Sorrell and Lariat and street will then be repaired properly·
TRANSITE PIPE ON SORREL ANDLARIAT - Joe Brennanwarned of seriousness of breaking
these plastic or transite water lines, since they were extremely difficult to repair.
Oregon Company agreed to be especially careful.
SERVICE LINES ON PRIVATE PROPERTY - Mr. Brennan stated service lines need to be 10 ft
from water line. After reading from code book Engineer Perkins said rules could be
interpreted differently. After discussion it was agreed upon by city engineer, mayor,
council and city inspector that all lines will be required to be l0 feet from water
line if possible, if not the inspector may at his discretion approve alternate
provisions according to the code.
SERVICE LINES OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS - Doug Gadd suggested these residents get a bid from
local contractors to do their service lines. After a lengthy discussion Larry Perkins
and Doug Gadd remarked paving was a sm~l] cost of future service lines and thought
it would be best if left undone for now. Doug Gadd added he would prefer not to have
service lines connected to the main line now because there is quite a chance dirt and
gravel can get into line which would hamper acceptance of their line. Mayor and
Council were in agreement with Mr. Gadd and this was approved by council.
SEWER SERVICE TO TAHOE ST. SOUTH OF BONANZA - Reviewed by engineer, mayor and counc~_l.
It was determined these homes were finished and lived in at time sewer bond election
