HomeMy WebLinkAbout04 10 1973 CM,oa- Minutes of the regular meeting of the council held in the city municipal building, April 10, 1973• Present: Councilman Taylor, Kinghorn, Menard, Romriell, Attorney Hargraves and Donna Bensel. Mayor Cotant, excused. Meeting called to order at 5:00 p.m. by Chairman Taylor. Minutes of the March 27 meeting approved as written. Please note See Below CLARK SUB — DIVISION — Robert Clark presented a proposed drawing of 70 acres west of Joy and West Chubbuck Rd. to be developed into housing over the next three year period. He plans to have a green belt around this 70 acres for horse riding. He also requested stub offs on the sewer as it is installed on West Chubbuck Rd. It was suggested by the council that a 25 ft. easement be made west of Joy for future street use and the residents have a 50% plus 1 approval on the green belt. ORDINANCE #119 was read by title only for the second time. CLAIMS — for the month of March presented to Chairman Taylor. Romriell asked what the reimburesement for all the firemen was for? Councilman Romriell made the motion to pay bills. It was seconded by Kinghorn. FINANCIAL REPORT presented to council,for month of March. SEWER SYSTEM HOOK —UPS outside the city limits were discussed and it was decided to discuss this matter at a later date. 119 EASEMENTS FOR SEWER PROJECT — Valenty alley between Yellowstone and Valenty Road is 20 ft. wide and the waterline is in the middle of the alley. John Valenty wants to deed this alley to the city but the council decided the city doesn't need this street, if the residents will sign the easements. Joe Brennan requested three tap offs on his property for his use only and if the property is sold the city isn't obligated. All councilmen agreed this was within reason. Kinghorn would like a larger culvert be installed on Hiway Avenue. ANNEXATION — Mennard announced P &Z are getting anxious to annex the property east of Hawthorne. It was suggested to draw up an Ordinance and vote on it at the next meeting. Council also proposed at April 10th meeting that the plat provide for Boyd Street to extend from Neider Addition into the Clark Sub — Division.
