COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES
December 12th, 2000
Minutes of a regular meeting held at the Chubbuck City Council Chambers, December 12th,
2000.
Present: Mayor John O. Cotant, Council members Leroy S. Quick, Steve M. England, Marvin C.
Gunter, B. Kent Kearns, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Public Works Director Steve Smart
and City Clerk Ron C. Conlin.
Meeting called to order at 7:30 p.m. by Mayor Cotant.
INVOCATION was given by Pastor John Robinson, Gate City Christen Church.
PLEDGE ALLEGIANCE TO THE FLAG was lead by Richard Marley.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Mayor Cotant asked for corrections or additions to regular meeting
minutes of November 28th, 2000.
Councilman Kearns moved to approve the regular meeting minutes of November 28th,
2000, subject to Councilman Kearns making the motion on approval of the November
28th, 2000 minutes and Councilman Gunter seconding them, Councilman Quick
seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
RENEWAL OF YEAR 2001 LIQUOR, WINE AND BEER BUSINESS LICENSES - City Clerk
Conlin
Police Department has approved the renewal of licenses to present holders of liquor, wine
and beer licenses.
Councilman England moved to approve all Year 2001 liquor, wine and beer licenses
subject to compliance of all requirements of ordinances and statutes as determined by the
City Clerk. Councilman Quick seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
1999-2000 CITY STREET FINANCE REPORT - City Clerk Ron Conlin presented the 1999-
2000 City Street Finance Report of dedicated funds to be presented to the State Auditor as
required by Idaho Code 40-708.
Councilman Gunter moved to accept the 1999-2000 Annual City Street Finance Report as
presented, Councilman Kearns seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.

SECOND COUNCIL MEETING IN DECEMBER - Mayor Cotant stated normally the second
Council Meeting in December is canceled.
Councilman England moved to cancel the regularly scheduled second Council Meeting in
December, December 26th, 2000, Councilman Kearns seconded. All council members
voted in favor of motion.
CLAIMS - Computer print-out claims presented to Mayor Cotant and Council.
Councilman Kearns moved to approve computer print-out claims as presented,
Councilman Gunter seconded. All council members voted in favor of motion.
GENERAL DISCUSSION -
1. Mayor Cotant stated he directed thermostats be turned to 68 degrees in City Buildings.
At 8:45 p.m., Councilman Gunter moved, Councilman England~th~
approval to adjourn meeting.
