NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
IOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Land Use & Development Commission
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, will con-
duct a public hearing at 7:00 PM on
April 9, 2419 at Chubbuck City Council
Chambers, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue,
Chubbuck, Idaho, with respect to the
following item,
1. An a plication for a change in Land
Use I iistrict from Agriculture (A) to Sin-
gle Family Residential (R-1) on approxi-
mately 1 acre of land. Location is in the
West 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 Sec-
tion 2, Township 6 South, Range 34
East of the Boise Meridian, Idaho, gen-
er0y located at the NW corner of Tree
Valley Road and Garden Drive in Chub -
buck, Idaho. The Comprehensive Plan
Future Land Use map designates this
area as Low Density. Type of Action:
Recommendation.
2. An application for a change in Land
Use District from Industrial (1) to Limited
Residential (R-2) on approximately 4.4
acres of land. Subject property is in the
SE 1/4 of Section 3, Township 6 South,
Range 34 East of the Boise Meridian,
Idaho, generally located in Chubbuck,
on the east side of the Union Pacific
Railroad and Highland Storage, north of
Chubbuck Road and west of Whitaker
Road. The Comprehensive Plan Future
Land Use map designates this area as
Medium Density and Mixed Use. Type
of Action: Recommendation.
3. An application for a change in Land
Use District from Limited Residential (R•
2) to Limited Commercial (C-1) on ap-
roximately 2.75 acres of land. Subject

the Boise Meridian, Idaho, generally lo-
cated at 820 W Chubbuck Road, Chub -
buck, Idaho. The Comprehensive Plan
Future Land Use map designates this
area as Mixed Use. Type of Action:
Recommendation.
A complete description of each item is
available to the public on request at the
City Office. Commission packet will be
available at the City Office on March 7,
2019. Any and all persons may register
comments, protests, or agreements on
the hearing subjects being considered.
Oral testimony concerning thesepro-
posals may be offered.at the public
hearing. Commission may limit oral tes-
timony. Written testimony must be re-
ceived by the Planning Department at
least 7 days prior to the hearing, shall
comply with standards established in
City Code 18.28.020.D.7., and shall be
considered public record,
City Hall and the City Council Chambers
are accessible for persons with disabili-
ties. Any person needing special ac-
commodations to participate in the
meeting should contact the City Plan-
ner, Paul Andrus at 208.237.2430 at
least 24 hours prior to the meeting.
