Meeting Minutes
January 31, 2019 — 7 pm

Call to Order By: Bobby Garvin, League President
Commissioners Present: Sean Kitchin, Gus Blad, Jon Woodin, Mark Adams

III. Reading and Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting
a) Motion to Approve by Gus Blad. Seconded by Jon Woodin. Vote Unanimous.
IV. General Business
a) Head Umpire — Past Head Umpire willing to assist as needed, but will not be returning
this year. City offices will be posting a job advertisement on City Facebook page for new
head umpire, requiring background and past experience. Compensated Volunteer
position, and all inquiries are asked to contact League President. A few names were
submitted for the league president to follow up.

i. Exceptions to this rule are:
1. If an assistant coach's child is automatically place on the team as determined in Rule
16, that child will be placed in the first round draft slot for the team.
2. If the number of automatic players will fill up the first round draft slot, the player(s)
will be placed in the second to last round, then the last round as necessary so as not to
fill up the first round draft slot. The first round draft slot is guaranteed to all teams
unless filled by exception 37-i-1 above. "

V. Review of Commissioners and Date of Appointment —Proposal motioned to accept Jacob
Michaelson (sp) as a new commissioner. Appointed.
