Call to Order II. Roll Call III. Reading and Approval of Minutes from Last Meeting a) Motion to Approve by Gus Blad. Seconded by Jon Woodin. Vote Unanimous. IV. General Business a) Head Umpire — Past Head Umpire willing to assist as needed, but will not be returning this year. City offices will be posting a job advertisement on City Facebook page for new head umpire, requiring background and past experience. Compensated Volunteer position, and all inquiries are asked to contact League President. Season Starts April 8th e) League Rules - i. Discussion to adopt 2 5/8" barrel should inize for aclude USA Baseball approval stamp.es 9-10. Discussion about concerns and regulations, whether the bats w for 2 Commissioner Jon Wooding motioned to ratify current league bCommis onelroGus Blad. 5/8" (no stamp required) across all age groups. Vote Unanimous. USA Baseball Certified Preferred but not required at this time. ii. Discussion around by law 16 and 37-d (included omore that the kid of the assistant dr w elow). Proposal to modify to allow for coaches who have been coaching for two yrs coach be considered as a pick in the 2nd round of the draft, thislmay givefirst the other specified in the by-laws. Arguments given tothe disadvantage teams, and that the rule is in place to avoid the requirement of gentlemen agreement to receive the kid of the assistant coach, but this proposal could potentially give 3 first round picks (ie. Coach's son, Assistant Coach's Son, and 11 Round Pick).
