City of Chubbuck /Newsletter
Vol. 3 Issue 4
Message from the Mayor:
April 2008
It is great to be able to say that that we had a good snow winter this year. However, we also. appreciate the days that re-
mind us that spring is on its way. It is nice that we seem to be having more pleasant weather than not. As noted later in
this newsletter, the city will be providing branch chipping again this year to help as you get your yards spruced up and
ready for summer. We will also be moving forward with other encouragements as we work toward Community Spring
Cleanup Day, May 3rd. With the city now providing its own garbage collection, we will be able to do a little more this
year for spring cleanup.
We have just completed registration of those interested in our youth baseball and softball programs. We are also includ-
ing information in this newsletter about the upcoming roller hockey activity. We appreciate those who participate in
any way in these valuable programs. Later in the spring and early summer, the baseball and softball leagues will be
regularly playing games in our city facilities, and the roller hockey leagues will be playing in the new lighted rink at
Capell Park. Take some time to come out and watch. It is GOOD entertainment.
From my view, I am still very optimistic about both the short and long term future of our community. I feel that Chub -
buck is poised to be a very vital part of the projected progress of this area. I am grateful for our citizens and what I see
as a cooperative effort to move us forward. Chubbuck continues to be a great place to live and do business.

Tell It To City Hall
In our democratic form of government, city employees are public servants. We are anxious to serve you the best
way we can. There are many maintenance and operational problems that are faced daily. City employees find
many of these problems and take care of them before citizens become aware of them. Other times, you may
spot something we have missed. We encourage you to tell us about these problems, so we can fix them for you.
There are also times you might wish to pass on a good word to city workers. We invite you to use this form to "Tell It
