TION 30 OF ORDINANCE NO. 18, OF
THE VILLAGE OF CHuBRUCK, SAN -
NOCK COUNTY, IDAHO; PERTAIN-
ING TO. WATER RATES AND REGU-
LATIONS, AND CHANGING T H E
RATE FROM "FOR THE FIRST 5,000
GALLONS, NINETY CENTS PER 1,000
GALLONS" TO "FOR THE FIRST
10,000 GALLONS, FORTY-FIVE CENTS
PER 1,000 GALLONS". FOR CONSUM-
ERS INSIDE THE VILLAGE 'OF
CHUBBUCK AND FROM "FOR THE
FIRST5,000 GALLONS, ONE DOLLAR
PER 1,000 GALLONS" TO "FOR THE
FIRST 10,000 GALLONS, FIFTY CENTS

ERS OUTSIDE OF THE VILLAGE OF

ORDINANCE: AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF OR-
DINANCE,-. IN CONFLICT TRER.E_
WITH:
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIR-
MAN AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK,
BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO:
Section 1. That Section 30 of Or-
dinance No. 18 of the Village of Chub -
buck, Bannoc1� County, Idaho, be, and
tlxe same is hxeby amended to read as
follows: j
'Section 30. Water Rates and Regula-
tions. That beginning January 1, 1953,
or as soon thereafter as the water
works plant is installed and in
operation, all users or consumers of
water furnished from the Municinai
Water Plant of the Village of Chuo-
back shall be furnished water by the
Village at the following rates, "or
water used through meters:
To the consumers within the Village
of Chubbuck, to -wit:
For the first 10,000 gallons, forty-five
cents per 1,000 gallons.
For the next 20,000 gallons, twenty-
five cents per 1,000 gallons.
For the next 25,000 gallons, twenty -
cents per 1,000 gallons.
For the next 50,000 gallons, fifteen
cents per 1,000 gallons.
For all over 100,000 gallons, eight,
cents per 11000 gallons.
Provided, however, that in no case.
shall the monthly minimum charge
be less than the following:
For 14 inch meter ........................$4.501
For I inch meter ... .- -..---.........-$G.00
For 1?4 inch meter and larger —$6.75
To consumers outside the Village of
Chubbuck, to -wit:
For the first I0,000 gallons, fifty
cents per 1.000 gallons.
For the next 20,000 gallons, thirty
cents per 1,000 gallons.
For the next 25,000 gallons, twenty-
five cents per 1,000 gallons,
For the next 56,000 gallons, twenty
cents per 1,000 gallons.
For all aver 100,000 gallons, ten cents
per 1,000 gallons.
Provided, however, that in rio case
shall the monthly minimum charge
be less than the following:
For 2,� inch meter ..........................$5.00
For 1 inch meter ..... ..... - ................$G.50
For 1i1 inch meter and larger ....$.750
Provided further, that where the
property is to be vacant and un-
occupied and no water used for a
period of one month or more, the
owner may apply to the Village to
have the water Shut off, during such
vacancy, and while so shut off from
the property, no minhnum or other
charge shall be made for water dur-
ing said period, but such period of
relief from the minimum charge
shall not exceed five months in any
one year, and at the expiration of
any :live months period of vacancy
or of occupied property where the
water is shut off, as above, .the
minimum charge shall begin and be
imposed. Provided further, that
when the water has been turned off,
the applicant for turning it back on
shall pay to the Village the sum
of $2.50, as a service charge therefor
The Village of Chubbuck shall pay
at the above established rates for
all water used for municipal, pur-
pposes ,which charges shall be paid
r to the Village Cleric from the Gen-
eral fund of the Village to be there-
after handled in the same manner as
revenues from regular consumer or

was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of
America, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE
IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at
Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation
therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was
published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates,
to -wit:

That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly pub-

the meaning of the laws of Idaho.
