ARTICLES OF PER- SONAL PROPERTY OF ANY KIND, OR OFFER FOR SALE, OR OFFEit TO MAKE SALES THEREOF, ON ANY OF THE STREETS, ALLEYS OR SIDEWALKS OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, FROM ANY KIND OF TRUCK OR OTHER VEHICLE, WHETHER MOVING OR STANDING STILL, OR FROM PLATF5RMS OR OTHER STRUC- TURE --i5 OF ANY KIND, WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A LICENSE FROM THE VILLAGE THEREFOR; PROVIDING FOR THE GRANTING OF. SUCH LICENSES AND THE FEES THEREFOR; PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION OF THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; PROVIDING T H E TIME OF TAKING EFFECT OF THIS ORDINANCE AND REPEAL- ING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES INSOFAR AS THEY ARE IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ORDINANCE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CHAIR- MAN AND THE BOARD OF TRUS- TEES OF THE VILLAGE OF CHUB - BUCK, BANNOCK COUNTY, IDAHO: Section 1, It shall be unlawful for any person or persons, as pedlers, hawkers, auctioneers, or otherwise, to make sales of merchandise, or other articles of personal property of any kind, or exhibit for sale, or offer to make sales thereof of such property, on, any of the streets, alleys or side- walks of the Village of Chubbuck from any kind of truck or other vehicle, whether moving or standing still, or Irom platforms, or any other struc- tures, without first obtaining a license from the Village therefor. Section 2. Any person or persons de- siring to offer for sale or to make such sales- of personal property from trucks or other vehicles or platforms or other structures, as herein referred to in the preceding section, shall first secure a license therefor from the Vil- lage of Chubbuck, such licenses to be acted upon and authorized by ille Board of Trustees of the Village, and the fee for such licenses shall be $10.00, per day; provided however, that the Board of Trustees shall at all times have the power to refuse licenses to applicants when the Board of Trustees deems it against the best interests of the public to grant the licenses to the applicants applying for the same, Section 3, Any person violating the terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a misde- meanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not exceeding $100.00 for each offense. Section 9. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they are in con- flict with this ordinance are hereby repeated. Section 5. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force and effect upon its passage, approval and one Publication in the Idaho State Journal. a newspaper published in Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a circulation M the Village of Chubbuck, and designated as the official news- paper for the publication of this ordi- nance.
