VILLAGE OF CHUBBUCK
CALL FOR BIDS
Scaled proposals will be received by
the Village of Chubbuck at the office
of Tohn R. Valenty, Chairman of the
Board of Trustees of Village, until 8:00
o'clock p.m, a£ April 15, 1953, imme-
diately after which time the bids will
be publicly opened and read in the
Municipal Office of the Village at the
Fire Station in said Village, for furnish-
ing materials, labor and installing the
following in the upper story of the
Fire Station of the Village of Chub -
buck.
Principal items of work and ma-
terials are as follows:
Plastering, one-half inch smooth,
sand finish on 1368 squ. ft. block
walls'
Ceilings: medium weight fiber glass
insulation and one-half inch sheet
rock, 1400 squ. it.;
Partitions; 9 ft. in height, total
length, 119 lineal ft., both sides cov-
ered with one-half inch sheet rock;
all sheet rock to be installed, perf-
a-taped, textured and sealed;
52 gal. National double, extra heavy
duty electric water heater, installed
and connected;
Standard bathroom fixtures, con-
sisting of one 5 ft,recessed tub, one
lavatory, one stool, medicine one
net, fully installed;
12 ft. kitchen cabinet with 21" x
32" sink with fittings, fully install-
ed; linoleum cabinet top.
7 inside doors, standard door cas-
ings, window casings and mopboards;
5/8 inch ply -wood floors and as.
phalt tile flooring, 1400 squ. ft.;
Wiring for stove, water heater
electrical outlets and lights;
Painting: all woodwork painted;
bathrom and kitchen walls painted;
balance of sheet rack and all plaster
kemtoned;
7 heat ducts and cold air returns
in respective rooms from present
furnace;
Details, plans and specifications may
be examined at the office of Sohn R.
Valenty,
No bid may be withdrawn after the
Scheduled time for the public opening
of bids. The Village of Chubbuck re-
serves the right to reject any or all
proposals or to accept The proposal
deemed to be in the best interest of
the Village,
Each bid shall be accompanied with
^ashier's check in the sum of 5% of
the total bid as guarantee that the bid-
3er will, if successful, enter into a
contract and furnish a Corporate sure-
ty bond,

America, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE
IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at
Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation
therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was
published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates,

That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly pub-
lished in said County for a period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the
publication of said notice or advertisement and is a newspaper within
the meaning of the laws of Idaho.
