HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 11 1976 Bid®\1 41976 PROOF OF PUBLICATION STATE OF IDAHO ss:' County of Bannock LEGAL ADVERTISEMENTS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF CHUB BUCK, IDAHO Sealed bids will be received by the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, at the office of the City Clerk, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho, until 8:00 P,M., Tuesday, October 26,1976, at which time the bids duly submitted will be opened and read, for supplying the items listed below, All bids must be presented or otherwise delivered under sealed cover, and must contain one of the following forms of bidder's security in the amount of five per cent (5 pct.) of the amount bid: cash, cashier's check payable to City, certified check payable to City, or bidder's bond executed by qualified surety company payable to City. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or to accept the lowest responsible bid, or any item of any such bid, deemed most advantageous to the City. The materials to be supplied are as follows: A. 4,212 feet of class 50 ductile iron pipe, Tyton Joint ends, cement lines, conforming to ANSI A 21.51-1976 and AWWA C151-76. B. One (1) sixteen inch butterfly valve, cast iron body, with mechanical joint ends, suitable for buried service, class 150 B per AWWA specification No. C504-74. Maximum input torque against operator stops shall be 450 foot- ibs. Shall be similar or equal to , Henry Pratt Groundhog butterfly valves. C. Three (3) 45 degree bend, sixteen inch fittings. Shall be grd'y iron, mechanical joint, class 250. Shall be produced in acco�ance with AWWA specification C110-71, and C1 11-72, and federal specification WW -P -421C.
