HomeMy WebLinkAbout03 12 1976 Ord. 158PROOF OF PUBLICATION STATE OF IDAHO ss:' County of Bannock ORDINANCE NO. 158 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING ORDINANCE NUMBER 76 OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, TO PROVIDE THAT THE LICEN- SEE THEREUNDER SHALL BE TELEPROMPTER CORPOR- ATION RATHER THAN BAN - NOCK TV CABLE COMPANY, FURTHER AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE NUMBER 16 TO SPECIFY THAT THE ANNUAL. LICENSE FEE THEREUNDER COMMENCING IN THE CALENDAR YEAR 1976 SHALL BE TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($200.00) AND THAT THE LICENSE FEE IN SUB- SEQUENT YEARS MAY BE ADJUSTED BY RESOLUTIONS REFLECTING FINDINGS BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY`S COSTS IN RELATION TO THE LICENSE GRANTED HEREBY AND FIXING A REASONABLE FEEIN RELATION THERETO, AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS OR- DINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: SECTION 1. Change of Licensee. That lines 1, 2 and 3 of Section I of Chubbuck City Ordinance number 76, passed and approved on the 28th day of May, 1968, are hereby amended as follows: Section I "The City of Chubbuck, hereinafter referred to as the City, hereby grants to Bannock TV Cable Co. Teleprompter Corporation, hereinafter called licensee, under conditions and limitations prescribed the. . . ." The remainder of said section shall remain unchanged. SECTION 2. Change in License Fee. That Section V of Chubbuck City Ordinance number 76, passed and approved on the 28th day of May, 1968, is hereby amended as follows: Section V "In consideration of the rights, privileges and authority by the license herein granted, said Licensee shall pay annually to the City of Chubbuck upon the passage of the herein Ordinance the sum of One Hundred Dollars annually as and for a license fee and shall pay for the publication of this Ordinance and other ex- penses of the City in connection therewith : provided, however, that commencing in the calendar year 1976 said annual license fee shall be Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00, and further provided that the license fee in subsequent years may be adjusted by resolutions reflecting findings by the City Council of the city's costs in reiation to the license granted hereby and fixing a reasonable fee in relation thereto." SECTION 3. Effective Date. That the rule requiring or- dinances to be read on three separate days is hereby dispensed with, and this ordinance shall become effective upon its passage, approval and Katherine Wanner being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says: That -------- `�he was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of America, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Cleric of THE IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation therein.
