HomeMy WebLinkAbout10 21 1975 Public HearingPROOF OF PUBLICATION STATE OF IDAHO ss: County of Bannock NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on the 6th day of Novem- ber, 1975, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the City Municipal Building, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Idaho the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Chubbuck will hold a public hearing to act upon the following: 1. A proposal by William Armstrong, 128 Briscoe Road, requesting rezoning of the following described property at 5439 Yellowstone Avenue to a General Commercial C-3 tone. The property is presently zoned General Commercial C-3 and Combined Residential R-2. Atract in the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Township 6 South, Range 34 East of the Boise Meridian, in Idaho, Particularly Described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at the Northeast corner of the South 23 rods of said Nor- theast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 3, Run thence West along the North boundary line of the James E. Harrington Et Al Property, described in that certain deed recorded in Book 99 of Deeds, page 506 of the records of Bannock County, Idaho, a distance of 438.5 feet, Run thence at right angles in a Northerly direction a distance of B5 feet, Run thence at right angles in an easterly direction, parallel with the North boundary line of the Harrington Tract above referred to, a distance of 438.5 feet to the East Boundary of the said Nor- theast Quarter of the Southwest ---- -j --------- ------------ Quarter of Section 3, Run thence in a Southerly direction along said East boundary line a distance of 85 feet to the place of beginning. Subject to any ditches or laterals or other rights of way upon, over or across said lands as the same now exist, and particularly subject to the right of way for the Yellowstone Highway. 2. A proposal by Iris M. Matkin, 123 Stuart requesting the rezoning of the following described property to General Commercial C-3. The property is currently zoned General Commercial C1 and Combined Residential R-2. A tract of land in the N E1/4 SWIA Section 3, T.6S., R.34E., B.M., Bannock County, Idaho, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the longitudinal centerline of said Section 3, said point being S 0 degrees 37'E, 852.58 feet from the center 1/4 corner of said Section 3; thence N 89 degrees 29'W, 173.85 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing N 89 degrees 29'W 265 feet; thence N 0 degrees 37'W, 50 feet; thence 5 89 degrees 29'E, 265 feet; thence 5 0 degrees 37'E, 50 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
