NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday,
February 19, 1980, at City Hall
(5160 Yellowstone Avenue), the
City Council of the City of Chub -
buck wiii conduct a public hear-
ing with regard to the Chubbuck
Land Use Ordinance, No. 205:
I. Whether -the ordinance should
be amended to allow the use of
portable signs, to atter the limita-
tions on projecting signs and to
change the regulations governing
freestanding on -promises signs.
The Land Use Commission rec-
ommended approval, details may
beobtained.from Me City Clerk,
2. Whether the ordinance should
be further amended to set forth a
definition of child care centers
with reference to the number of
children, the times of day when
care is provided and the fact that
care is provided for compensa-
tion. The Land Use Commission
recommended incorporating The
definition of day care center "as
a home or place in which any
child or children not related by
blood or marriage to the person
or persons operating such home
are regularly received and cared
for during any part of the twenty
four hour day" also providing for
five children minimum and the
fact that care is provided for
compensation.
3. Whether the ordinance should
further be amended to exclude
livestock except in Agricultural -
Transitional (A -T) areas, and in
those areas where livestock were
previously allowed as permitted
uses or as valid pre-existing non-
conforming uses, under the pre-
vious Chub -buck zoning ordinance,
No. 98. The Land Use Commis-
sion recommended approval.
4. Whether the ordinance should
be further amended to reduce
side yard requirements in resi-
dential land Use districts. The
Land Use Commission recom-
mended fourteen foot total side
yard requirement with five toot
rninimum on one side.
5. Whether the ordinance should
be further amended to create a
category of residential dwellings
known as "Mobile Homes" sepa-
rate from the "Production Dwell-
ings" category now existing in
the ordinance and setting forth
specific regulations for such Mo-
bile Homos. The Land Use Com-
mission recommended the above
amendment, details may be ob-
tained from City Clerk.
6. Whether the ordinance should
be further amended with respect
to Production Dwellings and the
proposed category of Mobile
Homes to bring the requirements
for Production Dwelling Courts
and Mobile Home Courts into
closer conformity with the re-

was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of
America, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Cleric of THE
IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at
Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation
therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was
published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates,
to -wit:
That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly pub-
lished in said County for a period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the
publication of said notice or advertisement and is a newspaper within
the meaning of the laws of Idaho.
