County of Bannock ORDINANCE NO. 237 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING OR- DINANCE NO. 231 BY AMENDING SECTION 5.05.190 TO PROVIDE THAT ANY PAWNBROKER LICENSED UN DER THE PROVISIONS OF ORD] NANCE NO. 231 SHALL MAINTAIN INSURANCE AGAINST FIRE, MALI- ciouS MISCHIEF, VANDALISM, AND EXTENDED COVERAGE ON GOODS OR THINGS PAWNED OR PLEDGED, FOR THE BENEFIT OF PLEDGORS; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDI- NANCE SHALL BECOME EFFEC- TIVE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: SECTION 1. Amendment. Section 1 of Ordinance No. 231 and Section 5.05.190 of the Chubbuck Municipal Code are amended to read as follows: 5.05.190 Safekeeping of Pledges. Every pawnbroker licensed under the provi- sions hereof shall provide a safe place for the keeping of all goods or things received and pawned, pledged or for re- sale and shall have sufficient insurance on such goods or things, for the beneflt of pledgors, in case of destruction by fire, malioious mischief, vandalism, and with extended coverage. SECTION 2: Effective Date. This Ordl- nanCe shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
