FURTHER AMENDING SAID ORDINANCE NO. 129 TO PROVIDE NEW RATES FOR SEWER SERVICES WITHIN AND OUTSIDE THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL, RATE ADJUSTMENTS; REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 197 AND ALL PRIOR ORDINANCES TO THE EXTENT OF CONFLICT; PROTECTING THE or notice, a true copy of which Is attached, Was REMAINING PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE IF ANY PROVISION SHOULD BE HELD INVALID; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates, BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: SECTION 1: Declaration. The Chubbuck City Council has reviewed in detail the rates charged for municipal services under Chubbuck City Ordinance No. 129, enacted on December 11, 1973, as well as ordinances incorporated by reference 19 82 19 therein. The City Council has found that the costs of providing such services have Changed, due to general inflationary pressures and growth in the numbers of subscribers to such services. In some instances, such growth has enabled the City to 19 _, 19 realize economies of scale which tend to alleviate rate increases that would otherwise be required. Having compared the rates and current costs, the City Council has concluded that the new rate schedules, set forth below, should be 19_ 19 adopted without delay. SECTION 2: water Rates. Section 1 of said Ordinance No. 129 is hereby repealed and the following section is substituted therefore: 19 19 "SECTION 1. Water rates. The rates charged for water furnished through the water system shall be set forth in Ordinance No. 78 of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, and enacted on June 11, 1968 except that rates for metered water within and outside the 19 City shall be as follows: 19-.—.- "A. 9__._"A.
