County of Bannock CITY OF CHUBBUCK NOTICE OF ENACTMENT OF ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT: 1) Ordinance #234 of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, was passed by the City Council and approved by the Mayor on the 27th day of April, 1982. 2) The ordinance is described as an amendment to tse Chubbuck Firework Ordinance. 3) The principal provisions of the ordi- nance are summarized as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING SEC- T)ON 6 (4) OF ORDINANCE NO. 180 OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, To PROVIDE THAT ALL TEMPORARY FIREWORK STANDS SHALL BE PRO- VIDED WITH ABC DRY CHEMICAL TYPE FIRE EXTINGUISHERS AND FURTHER AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 180 BY INSERTION OF A NEW SUB- SECTION 6 (12) REQUIRING THAT ALL TEMPORARY FIREWORKS STANDS BE PROVIDED WITH FIFTY-FIVE (55) GALLON BARRELS WHICH SHALL BE KEPT FULL OF WATER AT ALL TIMES; REPLE)NLING ALL PRIOR OR. DINANCES IN CONFLICT WITH THIS. ORDINANCE TO THE EXTENT OF SUCH CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY OF THE PROVI- SIONS OF THIS ORDINANCE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. 4) This ordinance amends the Chubbuck Fireworks Ordinance to require that each temporary fire stand be provided with an ABC dry chemical type fire extinguisher rather than a 'soda and acid' fire extin- guisher. The ordinance further requires that, unless waived by the Fire Cheif, each fire stand shall be provided with a 55 -gallon barrel of water and a 2 -gallon bucket. 5) This ordinance is effective upon publl- cation of this notice. Criminal misde- meanor penalties are provided for viola- tion of Ordinance No. 180, which is amended by this ordinance. 6) The full text of this ordinance is avallable at the Chubbuck City Office, 5160 Yellowstone Avenue. 7) The foregoing summary Is true and complete, and provides adequate notice to the public of the enactment of this ordi- nance. That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates, to -wit: ..,Iny 25 19 19 19__. 19. ----�, 19 That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly published in said County for a period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the publication of said notice or advertisement and is a newspaper within the meaning of the laws of Idaho.
