NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on
September 1, 1983, at 5:00 P.M. o'clock
at the City Municipal Building, 5160
Yellowstone, Chubbuck, Idaho, the
Chubbuck Land Use & Development
Commission will conduct a public hear-
ing regarding the following matters:
1. An ordinance amending the Chubbuck
Revised Land Use Ordinance (Ordi-
nance No. 241), to provide that multiple
household dwellings (defined in the Ordi-
nance as a dwelling containing three or
more households) will only be allowed in
a General Residential (R-2) Land Use
District upon issuance of a conditional
use permit as provided in the Land Use
Ordinance.
2. An ordinance amending the Chubbuck
Revised Land Use Ordinance (Ordi-
nance No. 241), to provide that animal
care sites (defined in the ordinance as
any location other than a kennel where
three or more animals older than 6
months are kept for sale or for compen-
sated services such as treatment, train-
ing, or boarding) will be allowed in an
Agricultural (A) Land Use District only
upon issuance of a conditional use per-
mit as provided in the Land Use Ordi-
nance.
3. An ordinance amending the Chubbuck
Revised Land Use Ordinance (Ordi-
nance No. 241) to provide that commer-
cial kennels (defined in the ordinance as
any location where one or more female
dogs are kept primarily for breeding
and the offspring thereof are sold for
profit, and any location, other than a
veterinary hospital, where dogs are re-
ceived for boarding and/or care) will be
allowed in an Agricultural (A) Land Use
District only upon issuance of a condi-
tional use permit as provided in the
Land Use Ordinance.
4. An ordinance amending the Chubbuck
Revised Land Use Ordinance to remove
certain typographical errors contained
therein and to clarify and amend the
hearing procedures for the consideration
of applications for variances, conditional
use permits, amendments to the Land
Use Ordinance, and revisions to the
City's Comprehenslve Plan.
Interested citizens may appear with
regard to the foregoing items and at the
time indicated, will be given an oppor-
tunity to be heard in support of or in
opposition to the foregoing proposals.
