ORDINANCE NO. 266
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR
A CHANGE IN THE LAND USE DIS-
TRICT WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN
LANDS MORE PARTICULARLY DE-
SCRIBED AS LOTS 1, 2, 3, 4 AND 5 OF
BLOCK 1 OF THE LESLIE HOMES
SUBDIVISION, WITHIN THE BOUNDA-
RIES OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK,
IDAHO, FROM GENERAL RESIDEW
TIAL (R-2) TO GENERAL COMMER-
CIAL (C-2); DECLARING THAT THE
CITY COUNCIL FIND SUCH RE -ZON-
ING CONSISTENT WITH THE LAND
USE PATTERN PRESCRIBED INTHE
CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; RE-
PEALING. PRIOR CONFLICTING ORDI-
NANCES;"AND PROVIDING WHEN
THIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR
AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
SECTION 1: Change of Land Use Dis-
trict. The Land use District established
by the Chubbuck Land Use Ordinance,
Ordinance No. 241, with respect to the
..lands described below, located within the
boundaries of the City of Chubbuck, is
hereby changed from General Residential
(R-2) to General Commercial (C-2):
Lots 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, Block 1 of the. Leslie
Homes Subdivision, according to the offi-
cial plat thereof filed for record in the
office of the County Recorder, Bannock
County, Idaho.
SECTION 2: Comprehensive Plan. The
-Mayor and Council find, and therefore
declare, that the foregoing changes in the
Land Use District, are consistent with the
land use pattern prescribed by the City's
Comprehensive Plan.
SECTION 3: Effective Date. Full public
hearings having been conducted In this
matter in accordance with all applicable
requirements under state and local law,
the rule requiring an ordinance to be read
-on three separate days, one of which shall
be a reading in full, is hereby dispensed
with, and this Ordinance shall become
effective upon its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
PASSED BY THE COUNCIL AND AP-
PROVED BY THE MAYOR OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, this 28th
day of May, 1985.
