County of Bannock CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO ORDINANCE NO. 265 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, AMENDING CHUBBUCK CITY ORDIANANCE NO. 233 BY MODIFYING SECTION 9.20.021 OF THE CHUBBUCK MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE CONTROL OF DOGS; PROVIDING FOR A NEW ,SCHEDULE OF ANNUAL LICENSE FEES FOR DOGS; PROVIDING FOR THE TERM OF SAID ANNUAL LI- CENSE; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PROVIDING FOR SEV- ERABILITY; AND PROVIDING WHEN rHIS ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND 'COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF (CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: SECTION(: SECTION 2 of Ordinance No. 233 is hereby amended by the amendment Of Section 9.20.021 of the Chubbuck Munic- ipal Code to read as follows: 9.20.021 Annual License Fee. The annual license fee for dogs for each calendar year or part thereof shall be as follows: Neutered dog... X55-68 $3.00 per year Unneutered dog .... $10 00 $5.00 per year ,Kennel.. ..$10.00 The term of any license issued persuant to this section shall be from June i to Mav 31. If the license fee is not paid by #arch-+ August 1 of each year for renewal licenses or within thirty (30) days after a license becomes required during the ealender year for new licenses (or within 60 days of the effective date of thiS ordinance), the above fees shall double. if the keeping or harboring of three (3) or more dogs is otherewise permitted at any single premises by the provisions of the Chubbuck Municipal Code, the license fee for each dog in excess of two (2) shall be Ten Dollars ($10.00) in addition to the license fees set forth above. SECTION 2: Repeal. All prior ordinances or provisions thereof which conflict with .chis ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict, SECTION 3: Severability: if any section or provision of this ordinance is held invalid by any court of competent juris- diction, such holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining sections or provisions. SECTION 4: Effective Date. The rule requiring an ordinance to be read on three separate days, one of which shall be a reading in full, is hereby dispensed with, and this OrdinanCe Shall become effective upon its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
