NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
LAND USE AND
DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the
Land Use and Development Commission
of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho will
conduct a public hearing at 7:30 p.m.,
June 4, 1987, at the Chubbuck City Office,
5160 Yellowstone Avenue, Chubbuck, Ida,
ho, with respect to the following items:
1) A proposal by Kevin & Shauna Wil-
helm, 530 Homestead, for a conditional
use permit for operating a beauty shop in
their home. Property is presently zoned
R-1, Single Family Residential.
2) A proposal by Donald B. Mitchell 261
Briscoe for a hardship variance to place
a mobile home at 261 Briscoe. Property is
presently zoned R-2, Limited Residential.
3) A proposal by Stan Drew for a change
of Land Use District from Agricultural
(A) to Single Family Residential (R-1) on
land approximately south of the 700 block
of Norcrest, North of 700 block of Moran,
West of 4700 Block of Chateau, 7.8 Acres.
4) Review of preliminary plat of the
Rolling Hills Subdivision to be developed
by Stan Drew, a subdivison located ap-
proximately south of 700 block of Nor -
crest, North of the 700 block of Moran,
and West of 4700 block of Chateau,
Chubbuck, Idaho.
5) An ordinance of the City of Chubbuck,
Idaho amending section 18.08.010 (b) to
prohibit the erection of double household
dwellings (duplexes) in single family
residential (R-1) land use districts and
thereby clarify inconsistency within title
18; providing for the severability of the
provisions of this amendatory ordinance
and of the section of the Chubbuck
Municipal code amended; repealing those
provisions of title 18 of the Chubbuck
municipal code which are in conflict with
this amendatory ordinance; and provid-
ing when this ordinance shall become
effective.
FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
THAT on June 9, 1987, at the hour of 7:3Q
p.m. in the City Municipal Building, 5160
Yellowstone Ave., Chubbuck, Idaho, the
City Council will hold a hearing in re-
gards to the following items:
1) To review the preliminary plat of
Rolling Hills Subdivision on the above
described property, together with the
recommendations of the Land Use and
Development Commission.
2) To review the above ordinance of the
City of Chubbuck, Idaho amending sec-
tion 18.08.010(b) of the Chubbuckâ˘Munici-
pal Code, along with the recommenda-
tions of the land Use Commission.
INTERESTED CITIZENS MAY AP-
PEAR AT BOTH hearings with regard to
the foregoing items, and at the time
indicated will be given an opportunity to
be heard in support or in oppsition to the
proposals.
