CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR
CHANGE OF LAND USE DISTRICT
WITH RESPECT TO CERTAIN LANDS
WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
CITY OF CHUBBUCK LOCATED IN
SECTION 3, TOWNSHIP 6 SOUTH,
RANGE 34 E.B.M., FROM LIMITED
RESIDENTIAL (R-2) TO GENERAL
COMMERCIAL (0-2); DECLARING
THAT THE CITY COUNCIL FINDS
THAT SUCH CHANGE IN LAND USE
DISTRICT IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE
LAND USE PATTERN PRESCRIBED
BY THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE
PLAN; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFEC-
TIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR
AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
SECTION 1. Change of Land Use Dis-
trict. The land use district established
by the Chubbuck Land Use Ordinance,
with respect to the lands described
below, located within the boundaries of
the City of Chubbuck, is hereby
changed from Limited Residential (R-2)
to General Commercial (C-2):
Leman Whited Property on Briscoe
Road:
Tract A: The West 20 feet of the follow -
Ing described property, to wit; Com-
mencing at a point which Is 346 feet
Northerly along the oenterllne of U. S.
Highway No. 91 from the South bound-
ary of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter, Section 3, Township
6 South, Range 34 E.B.M., Bannock
County, Idaho, and thence at right an-
gles in a Westerly direction 520 feet for
the point of beginning; thence at right
angles in a Southerly direction 218 feet;
thence at right angles in a Westerly
direction 200 feet; thence at right an-
gles in a Northerly direction 218 feet;
thence at right angles in an Easterly
direction 200 feet to point of begin-
ning...
Tract B: The West 80 feet of the follow-
ing described property, to wit: Com-
mencing at a point which Is 346 feet
Northerly along the centerline of U.S.
Highway No. 91 from the South bound-
ary of the Northeast Quarter of the
Northwest Quarter, Section 3, Township
6 South, Range 34 E.B.M., Bannock
County, Idaho, and thence at right an-
gles on a Westerly direction 520 feet for
the point of beginning; thence at right
angles In a Southerly direction 218 feet;
thence at right angles in a Westerly
direction 180 feet thence at right angles
In a Northerly direction 218 feet; thence
at right angles In an Easterly direction
180 feet to the point of beginning.
Districts established in Tide 18, Chub -
buck Code, are consistent with the land
use pattern prescribed by the City's
Comprehensive Plan for the above-
described grappe
