ORDINANCE NO. 361
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, ADOPTING
CHAPTER 15.36 "PRODUCTION
BUILDING STANDARDS" SETTING
FORTH STANDARDS FOR PRODUC-
TION BUILDINGS, REPEALING PRIOR
CONFLICTING ORDINANCES; PRO-
VIDING FOR THE SEVERABILITY OF
THE PROVISIONS OF THIS ORDI-
NANCE; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS
ORDINANCE SHALL BECOME EFFEC-
TIVE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR
AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CHUBBUCK, IDAHO:
Section 1, The following Section 15.36
shall be added to the Chubbuck Munici-
pal Code:
Chapter 15.36
Production Building Standards
15.36.010 Production Buildings Defined.
As used in this Chapter, production
building" shall have the same meaning
as set forth in Section 18.04.050(P) of
the Chubbuck Municipal Code.
15.36.020 installation permit Required.
The owner of a production building shall
obtain an installation permit from the
City Building Department before install-
ing a production building that will be
used as a residence on a building site
or in a mobile home park (production
building cluster arrangement). The ap-
plicant shall include, with the applica-
tion, the minimum fee charged by the
City for a building permit. After the per-
mit is issued, the owner shall contact
the City prior to skirting the unit and
arrange for inspection of the set up to
assure compliance with Section
15.36.030 below.
15.36.030 State Set Up Code Adopted.
The requirements for set up of apro-
duction building set forth in the Idaho
Manufactured Home Set Up Code and
specifically in Section 44-2203, 44-2204
and 2205 of the Idaho Code, as now in
effect or as may be hereinafter amend-
ed, are adopted by the City of Chub -
buck as the Set Up Code for production
buildings; except for all provisions re-
garding venting, which are not adopted
by the City and which provisions as to
venting will not be enforced by the City.
All production buildings installed subse-
quent to the effective date of this chap-
ter shall be set up in accordance with
the standards set forth therein; pro-
vided, however, installation in ac-
cordance with the criteria and standards
of a lending agency or agency providing
mortgage insurance such as the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban De-
velopment shall be acceptable.
15.36.040 Skirting Standards. All pro-
duction buildings not installed on per-
manent foundations shall be skirted with
appropriate material of a wood, metal or
plastic construction. The material shall
be uniform around the entire unit and all
of the skirting shall be of the same
color. Unpainted wood, metal or. un-
painted galvanized metal shall not be
acceptable as skirting material, All skirt -
Ing material shall be maintained and not
be -!lowed to deteriorate, become dent-
ed or in a state of disrepair. This stand-
ard shall apply to all production build-
