Wann ORDINANCE NUMBER 334 AN ORDINANCE ordering the ac- quisition and construction of a build- ing site, building and suitable equip- ment and apparatus necessary for fire protection for the City of Chub - buck, Idaho; directing, subject to the approval of the qualified electors of said city, that general obligation bonds of said city in the amount of M,000 be issued to pay the cost thereof; calling an election for the purpose of submitting to the quali- fied electors of said city the proposi- tion of the issuance of such bonds; and providing for the issuance of such bonds and the levy of a tax to pay such bonds in the event they are voted at such election. WHEREAS, it is considered by the Mayor and Council to be necessary and essential to the health and well- being of the inhabitants of the City of Chubbuck, Idaho that said city acquire and construct a building site, building and suitable equip- ment and apparatus necessary for fire protection for said city (the "Project"); and WHEREAS, said city does not have funds available to pay the cost of the Project and has determined it advis- able to finance such cost through the issuance of the general obligation bonds of the city pursuant to the provisions of Title 10 of Chapter 50, Idaho code, as amended, and in order to do so desires to provide for the holding of the election required by said chapter. NOW, THEREFORE, Be it Or- dained by the Mayor and Council of the City of Chubbuck, Bannock County, Idaho, as fol lows: Section 1. that a special general obligation bond election is hereby called to be held in the City of Chubbuck on June 19, 1990, for the purpose of submitting to the quali- fied electors of said city the proposi- tion set forth in the form of ballot appearing in Section 4 hereof. Section 2. That the polls at said special general obligation election shall open at the hour of 12:00 o'clock Noon and remain open con- tinuously until the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. and then close. Said election shall be held at the voting places established at: PRECINCTNUMBER: VOTING PLACE: Council Chambers Chubbuck City Hall 5160 Yellowstone Avenue in the City of Chubbuck. Section 3. That no person snail vote at such special general obligation bond election who is not at the time of the election: 1. A qualified elector of the city, eighteen (10) years of age or older; and 2. A resident of the city who has ­r..aA ki.u.nin at toad thirty fail► being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says: That she was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of Ameri- ca, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation therein. That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates, t0 -wit: 19.90 --- -- - 19- 9-19-19- 19- 19- --, 19— 19—_ 19— — - 19— That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly published in said County for a period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the publication of said notice or advertisement and is a newspaper within the meaning of the laws of Idaho.
