OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION
Pursuant to the laws of the State of
Idaho and Ordinance #334, of the
City of Chubbuck, County of Ban-
nock, State of Idaho, notice is here-
by given that a special general
obligation bond election will be held
in said city on June 19, 1990, begin-
ning at the hour of 12:00 o'clock
Noon and closing at the hour of 8;00
p.m. of said day, for the purpose of
laking a vote upon the following
question, to -wit:
QUESTION: Shall the City of Chub -
buck, Idaho, issue and sell Its gener-
al obligation bonds to the amount of
$500,000 for the purpose of providing
funds with which to acquire and
'construct a building site, building
and suitable equipment and apparat-
us necessary for fire protection,
such bonds to be payable from ad
valorem taxes, as more fully provid-
ed in Ordinance #334, adopted on
May 8, 1990?
Said election shall be held at the
voting place establ fished at:
PRECINCT NUMBER: 34, 81, 82, 83,
84, 85, 86
VOTING PLACE:
Council Chambers
Chubbuck City Hall
5160 Yellowstone Ave.
In the City of Chubbuck.
Notice is further given that only
qualified electors of said city, eigh-
teen (18) years of age or older, who
have resided in the city for thirty
(30) days, who are registered as
provided by law, are entitled to vote
at said election. No qualified elector
who is duly registered as a voter
and voted in at least one (1) general
city election in the past four (4)
years, and who continued to reside
at the same address, or within the
same precinct in which he is regis-
tered, shall be required to re -regis-
ter. But any elector (€) who has
failed or neglected heretofore to
vote In at least one (1) general
election in the past four {4) years in
said city, (1€) who has had his
registration cancelled by the City
Clerk or the County Clerk aspprovid-
ed by law, or (iii) who has changed
his residence (excluding a change
within a precinct not requiring re -
registration) must be re -register.
Persons may register (1) with offi-
cial precinct registrars, (It) at .the
office of the Bannock County Clerk
In the Bannock County Courthouse,
in the City of Pocatello, Idaho,.or
(€€€) at the office of the City Clerk,
in the City Hall In the City of
Chubbuck, Idaho. Persons may re-
gister with official precinct regis-
trars until and Including June 1,
1990. Persons may register with the
City Clerk or the County Clerk until
and including June 8, 1990, at any
time during the regular office hours
of the City Clerk or the County
Clerk, respectively, except that on
Friday. June 8, 1990, persons may
register In said office between the
hours of 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
The voting at said election shall be
by separate ballot. The ballot to be
supplied the voters for their use at
said election shall being the form set
forth in Ordinance Number 334.
Any registered elector of the city
may make written application to the
City Clerk In accordance with law
for an absentee ballot, Provided that
an absentee ballot must be received
by the City Clerk by 8:00 o'clock
P.M. on the day of the election in
order to be counted.
If at said election two-thirds (;fa) of
the qualified electors voting at such
election assent to the Issuance of
said bonds for the purposes set forth
in Ordinance Number 334, and desig-
nated on the aforesaid ballot, the
general obligation bonds of the city
Of will be issued for the above
described Purposes In the manner
provided in the Municipal Bond Law
Of Idaho, and said bonds, or any
Issue thereof, will mature annually
over a Period commencing in 1991
antl ending In
2005, and will bear
Intarest and be payable from ad
Valorem taxes In accorance with the
provisions of Section 50-1026, Idaho
Code, as amended and the Municipal
being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says: That she
was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of Ameri-
ca, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE IDAHO
STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at Pocatello,
Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation therein.
That the document or notice, a true copy of which is attached, was
published in the said IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, on the following dates,
to -wit:

23 May 1990

That said paper has been continuously and uninterruptedly published
in said County for a period of seventy-eight weeks prior to the publication
of said notice or advertisement and is a newspaper within the meaning
of the laws of Idaho. I
