County of Bannock Sample Ballot SPECIAL GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ELECTION City of Chubbuck, Bannock County State of Idaho I June 19, 1990 INSTRUCTIONS TO VOTERS: To vote on the following question, place a cross K in the square to the right of the words "In favor of issuing general obligation bonds to the amount of $500,000 for the purposes provided by Ordinance Number 334" or "Against the issuance of general obligation bonds to the amount of $500,000 for the purpose provided by Ordinance Number 334", according to the way you desire to vote oR the question. All marks otherwise made are for- bidden. All distinguishing marks are forbidden and make the ballot void. If you, by mistake or accident, mark, tear, deface, or otherwise mutilate this ballot, return it to the election judges and obtain another ballot. QUESTION: Shall the City of Chubbuck, Idaho, issue and sell its general obli• gation bonds to the amount of $500,000 for the purpose of providing funds with which to acquire and construct a building site, building and suitable equipment and apparatus necessary for fire protection, such bonds to be payable from ad valorem taxes, as more fully provided in Ordinance Number 334 adopted on May 8, 1990? IN FAVOR OF ISSUING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS TO THE AMOUNT OF $500,000 FOR THE PURPOSE PROVIDED BY ORDINANCE NUMBER 334 ............ ❑ AGAINST THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS TO THE AMOUNT OF $500,000 FOR THE PURPOSE PROVIDED BY ORDINANCE NUMBER 334 ... ❑ The following information is required by Section 34-440, Idaho Code, as amended: The total existing indebtedness, including interest accrued as of June 1, 1990, of the City of Chubbuck is $954,550.00. The interest rate anticipated on the pro- posed general obligation bonds is 7.25%. The range of anticipated rates is from 6.0% to 10.0%. The total amount to be repaid over the life of the pro- posed general obligation bonds, based on the anticipated interest rate, is $828,875.00. June 8, 13, 77,1990 No. 486 Sandra K. Wann being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says: That she was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of Ameri- ca, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation therein.
