HomeMy WebLinkAbout11 25 1992 Ord. 386STATE OF IDAHO County of Bannock CITY OF CHUBIJULr<, IDAHO ORDINANCE NO. 386 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO, PROVIDING FOR CHANGES IN THE LAND USE PATTERN PRE- SCRIBED IN THE CITrS COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; AND PROVIDING WHEN THIS ORDI- NANCE SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCII, OF THE CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO: SECTION 1. After full public hoarings on Janu- ary 8, 1985 and on Febru. ary 12, 1985, the Chub - buck City Council adopted Ordinance No. 263 Chang. Ingthe Land Use District for the property described on the attached Exhibit "A", however, the Comprehensive Plan change was Inadvertently overlooked. SECTION 2. Change of Comprehensive Plan. Fol- lowing full public hearings, the Mayor and Councri find, and therefore de- cfare, that the land use pattern prescribed by the City's Comprehensive Plan for property de- scribed on Exhibit "A", should be, and hereby is, changed from Industrial (1) to Limited Residential (R-2) (the 1985 hearings used the term General Residential (R-2), which is now designated under the Land Use statutes as Lim- ited Residential (R-2)). EXHIBIT "A" parcel of land located in E 1/2 NE 114 Section I.6S., 8.34 S.M.; Beginning at th . NW cor- ner of section ;hence, Sot&- aloljg the East line of s Section 3 to the East ,arter corner of Sectio; 3; Thence West along the latitudinal cen- terline of said Section 3 to the easterly right-of-way for the Union Pacific Rail Road; Thence northerly along the (aasterly right-of- way of the railroad 2612 feet; Then, South 89.38' 19" East t distance of Soo.00 feet; Thence North 1' 14' 09" West a dis- tance of 605.80 feet to the North fine of said Sec- tion 3; Thence East along the North line of Section 3, to the Point of Begin- ning. EXCEPTING THERE- FROM the following par- cel: Beginning at the East 1/4 corner of said Section 3, thence North alnnn the LORI A SEKOT being first duly sworn on oath deposes and says: That_ she was at all times herein mentioned a citizen of the United States of America, more than 21 years of age, and the Principal Clerk of THE IDAHO STATE JOURNAL, a daily newspaper, printed and published at Pocatello, Bannock County, Idaho, and having a general circulation therein.
