BE IT ORDAINED BY
THE MAYOR AND
COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CHUBBUCK, IDA-
HO:
Section 1. Intent. The
1995 Comprehensive
Plan adopted by the
City of Chubbuck sets
forth a system of major
and minor arterial and
collector streets which
will aid in dispersing the
flow of traffic as the city
develops. In reviewing
the Comprehensive
Plan and the develop-
ment of the Kaslska
Subdivision, Alpine Ave-
nue appears to be the
only street that can be
designated as a minor
arterial in the future that
will connect Hawthorne
Road with Philben Road
other than the major ar-
terial of West Chubbuck
Road and Quinn Road.
In order for Alpine Ave-
nue to be successfully
utilized as a minor arte-
rial, on street parking
must be prohibited. Ac-
cordingly, the City
Council deems it in the
best interest of the City
of Chubbuck and its in-
habitants to so desig-
nate Alpine Avenue
and prohibit parking on
Alpine Ave.
