entirety; adopting a re-
vised chapter 15.04 to
adopt the 1997 editions
of the Uniform Building
Code, Uniform Fire
code, Uniform Mechank
cal Code, Uniform
Plumbing Code; adopt-
ing the 1996 edition of
the National Electric
Code, adopting appen-
dix B, chapter 13 of the
Uniform Mechanical
Code with respect to
fuel gas piping; adopt-
ing Uniform Code for
Abatement of Dan-
gerous Buifdings, 1997
edition, setting forth a
standard to determine
when an existing struc-
ture must be updated
to the handicap acces-
sibilitycode; requiring
the building department
to be advised when a
habitable structure is
damaged; setting forth
the method by which
value of construction is
determined for purpos-
es of permit assess-
ment; providing for the
repeal of conflicting or-
dinances; providing for
the severability of the
provisions of this ordi-
nance; providing that
this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect
after its passage, ap-
proval and publication
as allowed by law.
