DESIGN REVIEW SUBJECT: Raising and selling Snakes

APPLICANT: Curtis Brandt - Veterinarian
PROJECT: Commercial Snake Business at residence, Apartments on
W. Chubbuck Road behind D & S Electric.
Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steven Smart, Cary Campbell,
Jerry Rowland, Eric King, Ron C. Conlin, Jim Phelps, Larry Kohntopp and
Gerd Dixon.
Curtis Brandt, W. Chubbuck Road was present stating he would like to raise and sell snakes
from his residence on W. Chubbuck Road. Mr. Brandt explained the neighbors are not

aware of what he is doing, but did not think there will be any impact on them.
BO Campbell said the reason he brought it to Design Review is because, City Code does not
address snakes. BO Campbell stated it should probably go through Land Use &
Development Commission. After discussion, it was decided BO Campbell and Larry
Kohntopp will go to tile site and see the proposed operation. Attortle� Holmes stated lie
would like to review City Code.
No decision was made.

DESIGN REVIEW SUBJECT: Production Home Sales

APPLICANT: Cedar Creek Homes
PROJECT: Production Home Sales at Siphon and Yellowstone Ave.
Location: Northwest corner of Siphon and Yellowstone
Ave.
Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Attorney Thomas J. Holmes, Steven Smart, Cary Campbell,
Jerry Rowland, Eric King, Ron C. Conlin, Jim Phelps, Larry Kohntopp, and
Gerd Dixon. Alan Oliver, Fort Hall Irrigation was present.
Representatives From Cedar Creek Homes were present to explain what they want to do. There
was discussion regarding the following requirements:
1. Dust Abatement.
Paved Parking Area.
3. 10' Landscaping with automatic sprinkling
4. Swale addressing Storm Drainage.
5. One access on Siphon Road. No access on Yellowstone Ave.
6. Sidewalk, curb and gutter.
7. Letter ol'Credit or cash for required linprovements.
S. FC Eric King stated fire control is okay.
9. All requirements are required to be completed prior to June I �A., 1999.
10. 6" Sewer Line is required.
Mayor Cotant expressed concern the Site Plan presented did not show all requirements,
nor was the Site Plan presented to scale, as required.
After discussion, Design Review Committee told Cedar Creek Homes Representatives to
present a Site Plan to scale, showing all requirements discussed. If completed, the Site
Plan could be presented at next Tuesday, January 12"., 1999 Meeting.
