APPLICANT: John Jackson - Boise, Idaho. PROJECT: Jackson's Food Stores purchased Circle K's, they want to up date pump and canopy. Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Steve Smart, Jim Sempek, Sean Harris, Larry Kohntopp, Richard Webb, Eric King and Ron C. Conlin. John Jackson, Jackson's Food Stores was present to see what requirements the City is going to require of him. Mr. Jackson presented a proposed site plan. Mr. Jackson stated he is going to update pumps, making them more efficient, also is going to use a wrap around canopy. Larry Kohntopp stated the City's Ordinance requires on any building permit the following would be triggered: 1. 10' Landscaping around property with automatic sprinkler. 2. Eliminating one of the Yellowstone accesses. 3. Storm Drainage taken care on site. Mr. Jackson said he is remodeling several of the former Circle K Stations, so he has only so much money for the updates, if updating pumps and canopy triggers these costs, he might have to leave as is. Mr. Jackson said he could do landscaping in 12 to 18 months, but could not eliminate one access on Yellowstone Ave. Mr. Jackson said eliminating one of the accesses would take away all convenience and destroy the business. Mayor Cotant asked Mr. Jackson if he could present a site plan to scale showing what he can do with these requirements, and present at a future Design Review Committee Meeting. Mr. Jackson said he will present a site plan to scale, showing what he can do, including a time line for installing landscaping on the north property line, south property line and comers of his property facing Yellowstone Ave., with automatic sprinkling.
