DESIGN REVIEW SUBJECT: Jackson Food Stores pump and canopy update.
DATE: August 24 1h., 1999.
APPLICANT: John Jackson - Boise, Idaho.
PROJECT: Jackson's Food Stores purchased Circle K's, they want to up
date pump and canopy.
Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Attorney Holmes, Steve Smart, Jim Sempek, Sean Harris, Larry
Kohntopp, Richard Webb, Eric King and Ron C. Conlin.
John Jackson, Jackson's Food Stores was present at August 17'. Design Review Committee
Meeting, 1999 to see what requirements the City is going to require of him. Mr. Jackson
was given the suggested requirements, and asked to present a revised site plan showing
suggested requirements.
Design Review Committee reviewed the amended proposed site plan.
The following recommendations were discussed:
1. Site Plan shows 5' landscaping on south side of property , Committee felt the
landscaping should be 10' on this portion of property -
2. Site Plan shows 3' of landscaping in front of pump facing Yellowstone Ave.
Committee felt this could be eliminated.
3. Site Plan shows 3 curb cuts facing Yellowstone Ave. The curb cut facing Yellowstone
Ave. to north of property should be eliminated.
4. The area where the northerly Yellowstone Ave. curb cut is deleted, should have
enlarged landscaping area. (Comer of Yellowstone Ave. and Stuart Ave.)
5. The proposed site plan shows a 5' landscaping . area to north side of property to north,
facing Stuart Ave. Committee felt the landscaping on Stuart should be 10' instead of 5'.
6. All landscaping should have automatic sprinkling.
Larry Kohntopp was directed to get the requirements to John Jackson for review.
