Steve Smart said he was asked where there might be a center, place, etc. people can gather if power, etc. is lost because of Y2K. Jerry suggested if the concern is related to a health problem. they should go to hospitals they have generators. Also xas suggested they call Red Cross. Jerry Rowland is doing check on references for computer network maintenance bid Staff is leaning towards. Jerry Rowland received information on a City that makes mandatory training on sportsmanship in all sports. Jerry said he feels all parents involved should be required to take the training prior to the child being on a team. Ron said the Little League Baseball Program has such a prograrn, but it is not mandatory. Jerry said he NN ill pass inforn-iation. onto Larry Miller. Discussion about purchase of new radios in 2000 Bud 'get Year. Jerry showed a radio that is less expensive and better suited for City's purpose. Steve will get Jerry a count of radios needed in his departments. Erie King said he received a request from Bannock County Land Use Commission, ask -Ing Chubbuck Fire Department to enforce City Code on subdivision out side of City Limits, but in City's Impact Area. There is not much Eric King can do to enforce until an agreement is reached between the City of Chubbuck and Bannock County. Janet Rogers, 1070 McKinley was present and asked the Staff to consider approving a change in the original site plan for a manufacture home sales at 4618 Yellowstone Ave. ign in front of the brick home to the Mrs. Rogers asked if 1) They coi ild move the s - middle of the landscaping area shown on the site plan. 2) Slant the back end of the 28X60 manufactured home facing Yellowstone Ave. to the southeast. Jim Sempek asked Mrs. Rogers if the handicap parking spot will be installed. She said yes. Staff approved 1) the sign being moved from the front of the brick house to the landscaping area. 2) Slanting the east end of the 28X60 manufactured home facing Y,-Ilowstone Ave to the southeast. Jim Sempek stated when requirements are completed, he will issue a Certificate of Final Inspection on the manufactured home lot and Certificate of Occupancy on the sales office.
