PURPOSE FOR REVIEW: Approval for remodel of former Merlin's Insulation business to accommodate new business at 4925 Valenty Road. Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Attorney Tom Holmes, Steve Smart, Jerry Rowland, Ray Griffin, Merlin Miller, Eric King, Ron Conlin and Jim Phelps. Allen Blad, son and Lois Blad, mother were present and presented a site plan for 4925 Valenty Road. Mrs. Blad explained they are going to add a wall and take out the roll up door. Mrs. Blad explained Merlin Blad is leasing the building from Larry DeVissor. Allen Blad stated they will pave from the sidewalk to where the current pavement ends. Discussion about parking requirements. Site plan meets parking requirements. Mr. Blad said he will install at least the 10' landscaping, (grass) with automatic sprinkling, with one tree every fifty feet as required. City Crew will sweep street so we know where the sidewalk on Valenty Road is. Attorney Holmes asked if a new site plan can be prepared and brought to next Design Review Meeting. Mrs. Blad said they will bring in a amended site plan if they can start building on the inside. A building permit is approved based on approval of the final site plan. The amended site plan will go before the Design Review Committee, August 14th, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO DESIGN REVIEW MEETING APPLICATION The purpose of this application is to establish a meeting and review time with the City of Chubbuck Design Review Team consisting of the: Mayor, Building Official, City Planner, City Engineer, Fire Marshal, Police Chief and other City staff as required. The Design Review Team meets every Tuesday morning between the hours of 10:30 and 12:00 Noon This team will work in unison, with you, to establish the criteria for your project as it relates to the adopted ordinances of the City of Chubbuck. Keep in mind, this is an informal review and is only conducted on submitted applications. This is a review team not a design team. Provide (6) six sets of drawings at least one week in advance of your scheduled meeting. Formal reviews of your plans or project by City staff is conducted after formal application. Once you make your appointment and it is verified, it is very important to keep that appointment so others can be scheduled accordingly.
