Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Attorney Tom Holmes, Steve Smart, Richard Webb, Ray Griffin, Eric King, Ron Conlin, Jim Phelps, Merlin Miller and Larry Kohntopp. Bob Nestor presented a site plan showing the required employee parking. Bob Nestor, B & C Construction stated he has leased his south building to Tru. -Green Chemical Co. Larry Kohntopp pointed out the driveway for employees to get to employee parking is required to be paved. Mr. Nestor said he is concerned about cementing the drive because it is the driveway he uses to get his heavy equipment and large trucks to the back of property. Mr. Nestor expressed concern the cement would have to be replaced often. Mr. Nestor said he will advise Tru -Green Chemical they are required to come to a Design Review Meeting to discuss their plans and address Fire Department issues relating to chemicals they use. After discussion, Design Review Committee approved the sign plan with the following requirements: 1. Cement the 25'common access area on the site plan for employees to get to employee parking. 2. Parking space requirements as shown on site plan are approved as presented. 3. 10' Landscaping requirement with automatic sprinkling system 4. Juniper ground cover for landscaping was approved. MAP CITY OF CHUBBUCK, IDAHO DESIGN REVIEW MEETING APPLICATION The purpose of this application is to establish a meeting and review time with the City of Chubbuck Design Review Team consisting of the: Mayor, Building Official, City Planner, City Engineer, Fire Marshal, Police Chief and other City staff as required. The Design Review Team meets every Tuesday morning between the hours of 10:30 and 12:00 Noon. This team will work in unison, with you, to establish the criteria for your project as it relates to the adopted ordinances of the City of Chubbuck. Keep in mind, this is an informal review and is only conducted on submitted applications. This is a review team not a design team. Provide (6) six sets of drawings at least eight days in advance of your scheduled meeting. Fonnal reviews of your plans or project by City staff is conducted after formal application. Once you make your appointment and it is verified, it is very important to keep that appointment so others can be scheduled accordingly. LOCATION: West Chubbuck Road PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Darris Ellis wants a building permit so he can have a home in the Parade of Homes prior to requirements be completed. Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Attorney Tom Holmes, Steve Smart, Richard Webb, Ray Griffin, Eric King, Ron Conlin, Jim Phelps, Merlin Miller and Larry Kohntopp. Darris Ellis, Ellis Construction asked if there is a way he can get a building pen -nit for a home in Park Meadow P.U.D. Subdivision prior to the requirements of a street, utilities, etc. being installed. Discussion about fire hydrants in the area. Mr. Ellis stated he would like to start the home in a couple of weeks. Mr. Ellis said he could give the City a check for $185,000. to guarantee the requirements. Mr. Ellis said he would have to make a draw on the $185,000. as the subdivision progresses, but felt there would be enough in the account to take care of the requirements put on the subdivision. FC King told Mr. Ellis he is required to have an access for emergency vehicles to the home being built, Mr. Ellis said he will take care of that. Mr. Ellis was told he is required to if we have rain or snow to keep the mud cleaned from West Chubbuck Road. Mr. Ellis was told he could construct a home for the Parade of Homes in August, with the following conditions: I . Copy of bid from EG&G saying the City requirements can be completed for $185,000.00. 2. City receives a check for $185,000.00. 3. There be an access to the structure for Fire Department, etc. 4. The will be only one building permit issued prior to completion of all City requirements. 5. Mr. Ellis is required to enter into a development agreement approved by the City.
