PURPOSE OF REVIEW: Used Car Sales
Present: Mayor John 0. Cotant, Attorney Tom Holmes, Steve Smart, Richard Webb, Eric King,
Jean Higgins, Merlin Miller, Ray Griffin, Ron Conlin and Larry Kohntopp.
David King, 4620 Mountain Park Road was present to present a site plan for a used car sales he
wants to open at 5050 Yellowstone Ave.
Larry Kohntopp stated there is enough paved area on the property.
After discussion, the Design Review Committee approved the Design Review Application
subject to the following conditions:
I - 10' landscaping with automatic sprinkling system required along Yellowstone
Ave frontage.
2. The site triangles are required to be clear.
3. Required to close the south Yellowstone access and use the northerly access.
4. Required to clean up front of office building on Yellowstone Ave.
5. Required to install sidewalk, curb and gutter from Yellowstone Ave along
Laural Lane to back of office building.
6. Screening fence between used car lot and property to cast.
7. A sign permit is required when a sign is installed.
8. Clear address on front of office building.
9. All conditions are to be completed prior to June I't, 2004.

The purpose of this application is to establish a meeting and review time with the City of
Chubbuck Design Review Team consisting of the: Mayor, Building Official, City Planner,
City Engineer, Fire Marshal, Police Chief and other City staff as required. The Design Review
Team meets every Tuesday morning between the hours of 10:30 and 12:00 Noon.
This team will work in unison, with you, to establish the criteria for your project as it
relates to the adopted ordinances of the City of Chubbuck. Keep in mind, this is an
informal review and is only conducted on submitted applications. This is a review team
not a design team. Provide (6) six sets of drawings at least eight days in advance of your
scheduled meeting. Formal reviews of your plans or project by City staff is conducted
after formal application. Once you make your appointment and it is verified, it is very
important to keep that appointment so others can be scheduled accordingly.
